Rome

I do not know how to explain my experience today other then surreal. So I figured that putting a lot of periods in parenthesis would show how incredible it was to see something that I have only read about in history books my whole life... Ok ready here we go. (........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................!!!!!!...........!.....!. ...............................!!!!....) WOW is all I can say, it speaks for itself. The sheer beauty of master piece after master piece is truly jaw dropping. I hope this blog gives you some idea of how awesome it is because it offered me memories that I will never be able to replace.

The Colosseum

Our tour guide for part of the time.

More of the locals... Very nice people.

The Roman Forum

This is a statue of Jesus that was supposedly carved by Michelangelo himself but never finished. The head was finished later by another artist and claimed as his. However, Art historians, according to the tour guide, that have studied Michelangelo's work can tell by the fine detail and attention to the body that it is in fact Michelangelo's work labeled as someone else's. And I got to touch it!!!! Wooooooooooohhhhoooooooo!!!!

And last but not least a sneak peek to Janelle and Andrew's wedding!!! I can't wait to post these.

Thanks for lookin.
