Bahabelom and Rahwa's Wedding Full Post

I don’t know what else to say about this wedding other than wow… Bahabelom and Rahwa welcomed Michael Thompson and me into their lives with open arms. We got to see them in some of their most intimate moments and also in some of the craziest moments, which were also some of the craziest moments of our lives (constant sweating in nice clothes, eating amazing food, staying up till 4 in the morning working for two days, and meeting tons of amazing people). This is my first time shooting an Eritrean wedding and I am sure it will not be the last. The culture and tradition that comes along with it is beautiful and all encompassing for someone that has no idea what they are stepping into, however, we took it in stride and loved every moment of it.

To give you an idea of the weekend:
-Three days
-118 to 122 degrees outside
-Vegas

I could not have done it without the sidekick of all time, Michael Thompson. We had a blast working all day and all night, although our feet hated us after the weekend was up.

In wrapping this up, I would have to say that Bahabelom and Rahwa, Bob and Mimi, were such a great couple and gave us the opportunity of a lifetime. We witnessed something that was so special to them and got to document all of it. Here are some of the images without going to overboard on the posting side of things..

Who doesn't want to stop at Starbucks after their wedding?

Veeeegggaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssss!!!!!!

Thanks for looking.
